Our Services
At Mawang Consulting, we believe in the power of collaboration and two-way learning. Our name, derived from the Wiradjuri word for "All Together," reflects our commitment to bringing people together to create meaningful, lasting impact. We work closely with stakeholders to ensure that First Nations voices are not only heard but are integral to the design and delivery of projects and initiatives.
Upcoming Workshops
Co-design between worlds: care, solidarity and reclamation

Sydney 26 February 2026 - Camperdown Commons, Gadigal (get earlybird tickets)
Adelaide 2026 - date and venue TBC (email to express your interest)

This event offers practical tools and stories for co-designing between worlds while centering care, solidarity and supporting sustainable self-determination for many communities.

In recognition of the communities we belong to, we offer a special rate for mob, trans folks and for young people (under 25). We also offer early bird rates.
We’ll yarn, connect and learn about:
-
reclaiming co-design as something mob have done for thousands of years
-
exploring how we hold each other up in this work, roles and care structures
-
supporting many communities to reclaim authorship from beginning to end
-
doing co-design and co-production in ways that are more accessible and accountable to communities
We learned the term 'sustainable self determination' from our friends at Kowa Collaboration
Co-delivered with KA McKercher from Beyond Sticky Notes

This workshop offers social impact teams the oppourtunity to come together for a full day workshop where we can zoom out and (re)align as a team to build a new direction towards social change.

These sessions involve slowing down, reflecting and finding our purpose together as we navigate the messiness of social impact work.

These sessions are grounded in First Nations ways of being and doing as we unpack what relational work looks like as we seek change across our communities and teams.

These workshops are aimed for teams doing social impact work across ACCOs, Government and NGOs, Placed-Based Initiatives and Innovative Teams.

These sessions are bespoke and designed to involve pre-planning to create something tailored to your teams needs.
